What security software are you running?
Is the nVidia on board firewall enabled as well?
Having googled this it seems to be a combination of security settings and/or lan settings that crashes EMULE.
One way to have trouble is to have that nVidia hardware firewall active in addition to any other you've installed.

Browse this list of programs known to interfer with EMULE : http://forum.emule-project.net/index...pic=5046&st=40

Depending on what programs you're running a search should turn up a list of solutions.

I have windows firewall off, do not have nvidia firewall installed...

I however have Norton Antivirus 2005. will that affect it? In my old computer I have it installed and it doesn't crash though.
