Time limit software?

Is there software or hardware available which can limit how many hours per day that a computer can be on? Or is there a method for doing this? I need to limit how much time my son spends on his computer. I would guess that I need to limit access to the computers clock as well.

A program like Net Nanny will do what you want.
The problem is that, unless your kid is very young or really a novice with computers, information on blocking, fooling, and just plain disabling these cyber babysitters (tracelessly I might add) is just a google away.

Check to see if this: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/s...s/default.mspx helps. You can also use the 'net' command line option to limit the hours a person can use the account. For example:
net user user_name /time:M,7pm-8pm;T,5pm-8pm;W-F,15:00-16:00
should be self-explanatory and net user user_name /time:all will clear off the timers.
