Um.... whenever i run disk defragment, I ususally recieve a report sayin I have files that are fragments. When it's defragmenting, the red bars(representing the fragments) dominate more than 50% of the screen. Is there any where to get rid of these fragments. There are taking over my hard drive, seriously and slowing everything down. I run defragment and disk clean up every weekend. I also did "CCleaner". Is there anything that will remove those fragments

Let the defrag run through completely and make sure you maintain 15% of free space within your hard drive. If not, it will not defrag correctly or not at all.
*edit: Also what files are you downloading? There could be fragemented files you have downloaded which leads to files that you cant defrag leaving you with permanment frags. |
