What kind of data is it? Generally, it is possible to set up a network to share data between Macs and PCs.

That should be possible, but don't ask me how to do it.

Maybe this will help: http://joelshoemaker.com/computer/ma...lesharing.html

It is possible, it just depends on what type of video. There is .avi and .mpeg. To play .avi on the PC, he/she will need to download VLC. Quicktime, which will play .mpeg, is already on most PCs.

I have all my video on DVD-R and CR-R discs. All my videos play fine on both Mac and PC. I have never experimented with file sharing, which would save a lot of discs. If that ibook/powerbook only has a cd burner, it would take even more discs and time.

How many GBs of video data does he/she want to transfer?

There is also the option of an external HDD.

The answer to your question is yes, you can move the data, just set up a network and file sharing. Whether or not the data is usable on the windows machine depends on the programs used to create it.
