program recovery
is there anyway to recover a program thats installed in win2k, so that i can format and install xp and still have the program? Any tools that do this?? was thinking maybe copying the program file and then seeing if any reg keys could be identified as being from that program and copying them too...fat chance?

You'll have to reinstall any programs from scratch.

It depends on the program. SOME programs will still work if you just copy over the program directory.
