Free Disk Imager

http://www.runtime.org/dixml.htm

Free. Works. Need to create a booting CD w/Bart PE http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/ Requires a full copy of Windows XP SP1 or 2 SLIPSTREAMED. It needs the slipstreamed files to create the booting CD. That CD is necessary to execute a restoration.

If you have the slipstream, this thing works just fine and the price is certainly right.

It's creating a bootable XP cd with the service pack(1 or 2) included if you just have XP, without either service pack. That way you can format a hdd larger that 127 GB (Instead of going through intermeadiate steps with Partition Magic after you download/install SP(1)2.).
Read all particulars here : http://www.helpwithwindows.com/Windo...p2-bootcd.html

It worked mo' better than PowerQuest Drive Image 7.0 I haven't been trusting of these "hot image" programs. But I tested this thing and it works just fine. I like the price!

I remember when a copy of Ghost would come with motherboards.

As I go up on the web, it seems that the only complaints are that its slower and doesn't compress as small as the payware stuff. But nobody seems to say the thing didn't work!
