Thumbs up burning files to dvd problem

I am trying to burn some of my files to dvd-photos- word and excel products as well as some small video clips. I am using Nero 5.5 and a TDK DVDRW 420N. when I go to burn the files I get this message

Joliet names of these files[listed here in ISO-L3] are the same:
AUTOS_C2.HTM
AUTOS_CH.HTM

Preparation of ISO 9660 structures failed

How do I fix this or what to I need to do to burn the types of files that I want to burn onto DVD?

Thanks Larry

Shorten the names of the files and paths to 64 characters or less. I don't believe that Nero 5.5 has the ability to relax Joliet restrictions.

What may help is if you make a new folder right on the root of a drive with a short folder name (such as C:\DVD) and copy the files there first, then burn directly from that folder instead of digging way down into documents and settings and dragging the files into the burn window.
