Error
Hey guys,
While my boss was closing out my bar drawer today, he got this erro message; "Error Registering Window Class" He could open any other window, but not this program, its the employee check out program, its proprietary. I start fiddiling around with it, and I cant seem to figure out why he is getting the error. So he calls up IT and they tell him to just do a soft boot. He does, and everything is fixed. But this seems like they are just sweeping it under the rug. Is there something that can be done to stop this error from happening? As far as I know it doesnt happen often. While I was searching google I realized that the error is cause by the programming, maybe something has become corrupt or just misplaced...Besides reinstalling the program itself, what might we be able to do?

Rebooting is always the first thing you should do when you receive an error message. Many if not most of the time, the condition that caused the error is still present...
More than likly, the error actualy came from Windows. Windows either "reported" the error or was part of it. I wouldn't do a thing unless you get the error on a regular basis.
