Convert .rtf into Excel

I am trying to cleanly convert an .rtf file into Excel and I am having trouble doing it. Anyone know a way to convert an rtf file into Excel without all the words jumping all around or being gibberish?

Convert .rtf into Excel

To my knowledge, I don't think you can convert an rtf file to Excel.
Have you tried to copy and paste the document into Excel?
I done this with Word documents, but I still had to adjust the cells so that the text would display properly.

To easily convert a word file (ie a file created in word) to excel, save the file as a Comma Separated values file (*.csv).
The easy way to do this is to type whatever you want and then run a Find and Replace to replace all spaces with commas.
Then do a Save As and select File Type Text. Now rename the text file to "yourfilename.csv" where "yourfilename" is the name you want for the file.

Then simply double click it and the file should open in excel.

Another easy way is to create a table in Word with each individual value in a separate table cell. Now just copy and paste the data to excel.
