adobe installation and winpatrol
arrrrrgggghhhhhh! adobe popped up that it had a component update. I run Winpatrol and love it for alerting me about programs installing into the startup. now winpatrol is telling me that c:\program files\adobe\photoshop album started edition\3.0\apps\componentlauncher.exe is trying to overwrite microsoft editor for .jpg. I tried first hitting "no" so that it would not install. I then deleted the entire program file. winpatrol keeps popping up to do the install. where do I go to getrid of it?

Did you go into the msconfig utility, and the startup tab, or look in the startup shortcut under programs..

Change your Adobe updater to manual - and when you check for updates, don't select Photoshop Album for installation. Adobe has a nasty habit of shoving unwanted stuff upon you if you set it to automatically update.
