Font Problems
I recently downloaded over 1,500 fonts and installed them in Windows XP Pro. I then went to Photoshop CS2 and it froze. I made sure the problem was the fonts by going to mspaint and try to put text in. Anyways, I used CMD and did
rmdir "C:\Windows\Fonts\" /s /q After that completed, I copied fonts from my other computer (Windows XP Pro) to my fonts folder. I am still getting the freezing action. MSPaint freezes for about 26 seconds when I use the text component on the side. My question is, why is it doing this? Are the fonts in the registry or something? If so, where? |

I went to regedit and kept searching for one of the fonts in my font directory. I found the list:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts But, there are only 80-100 fonts there.. so |

Nevermind, I used RegCleaner and Registry Mechanic and it fixed it.
