a problem with pop up

I am using winxp and I am having problem downloading any attachment from my hotmail account. When I try to download the attachment, I get the following messege in the bottom left hand side of the internet explorer window :

" Blocked popup"

" Error in the page"

I have already added the hotmail site address in the tools-- internet options--- privacy ---settings to allow popups from this site but still the problem remains as it is.

Can you please help me out.

Try holding down the Ctrl key when you click on the attachment. That will override the Pop Up Blocker temporarily.
