Office2000 Question
Hi, I have Office2000 installed on my 2nd computer, but that's it - I do not have the disk or the Product Key.
Is there anyway of finding out the product key so I can install it onto another computer? I have been told that it is not possible on Office2000 and I must ring Microsoft, although they are wanting a key from the installation cd and the product ID. The product ID is fine but I have no installation cd, my dad took it with him when he moved out, so is there anyway of finding out the installation key? Or do I have to visit my hated dad and nag him for it?

Yes, it appears that the format for saving the Product Key in Windows 2000 is a mystery; Magical Jelly Bean can't find it, although it can find the key for other versions.
It looks like you will have to contact M$ using the procedure here: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=823570 |
