Scrolling problems
I have a customer that I just replaced their old IBM netvista with a Dell Optiplex GX150, running Windows 2000. They already had the monitor, keyboard and mouse from the old system so I didn't replace those but now the user complains that the system when viewing webpages and emails on AOL that the screen scrolls erratically. Dell is a P3 1Ghz with 256Mb of ram and a 20Gig HD. The old system was nearly the same except for the amount of memory it was only 128Mb. Anyone have any idea's why the screen would scroll like that for no reason? I thought it might be due to the mouse or the screen refresh rate but so far none of those things have had any effect.
Thanks Gene |

Install the latest drivers, especially the video drivers, from the Dell support site.
