How do I enable back my autorun feature whenever i want to play cd? I have previously disable the autorun due to VMware.
Thanks... |

Open My Computer, right click on your optical drive and go to Properties. Click on the AutoPlay tab and click "Select Action to perform".

hello,
Thanks for replying. But it doesn't work...Before that, when i put my CD in, it would auto launch the program. Now,I have to double-click the icon on the desktop to open the program. Even when i play music, usually it will prompt me to choose which application I wanna to play but now, it does not even prompt me. I have to go and click windows media player and then open the file from there... |

It sounds like you may have skipped a step.
You right click on the drive you use for playing CDs >Properties>AutoPlay and then you did. what? Chose play audio CD from the drop down list and then you did : Restore defaults? Enable Wondows Media?
