blank folder
For some reason every now and then when I go into folders, I get a blank folder with nothing in it. I did a virus scan and adaware and it's not being picked up. Anyone know what it is?

I'm not clear here.
Are you actually missing data you thought you'd saved or just finding the occasional empty generic windows folder?

I'm not missing any data. Basically, a folder appears at a random time in a random folder titled "blank". I thought it might have been a virus or adaware, however it didn't pick up anything. Any help as to why this folder keeps recreating itself?

Ahh, the Windows "ghost in the machine".
Ignore it and/or delete it. Possible corrections are are to defrag and run chkdisk(there's always the HDD bad sector possibility) and use a reg cleaner, CCleaner is a good one. If you have a recent restore point, before this started, use that. If you have a back-up program enabled you need to check it's settings. |
