fax through skype

i don't have a modem installed but i use skypeout for phone calls.
can i configure the xp fax software to send a fax through skype?

I went to http://www.skype.com/ and looked around. Looks like it does alot of thing but no mention of faxing.

it's a great program and if skype-in were available in canada i'd get that too.
what i need is to be able to dial to a fax (i can do that) and when the fax answers, click the send button on the fax software and have it recognize the active voip line.
or click send on the fax software and direct it to skype-out instead of it telling me that no modem is installed.

Not possible at this time. There's a lot of talk and requests on the Skype forums about this ability though, be patient, it may come to pass sometime. Right now, your only option without a modem is something like efax or jfax, which are pay services to send faxes.
