The only free ones I've ever seen have that "Display a sponsor page in your browser" problem.
The others though have a free trial : http://www.pdf-to-html-word.com/

I don't think there are any satisfactory good pdf 2 word converters. On the shareware side the best one IMO is e-PDF To Word Converter. It costs a bit, but you can easily find a discount for it - here is a 10% one for example, if you dig in froogle and the like you'll find similar offers I'm sure.
