splat Shareware wont uninstall...Plz Help

Hi,

So, I downloaded shareware for caller id for my pc. I ended up finding out that it had limitations without registering, so I decided I did not want it.

It did not have a simple "uninstall option", so i went to ADD REMOVE PROGRAMS and deleted it that way. Okay, and now when i turn on the PC and get to xp desktop, the same program is there along with the taskbar icon and it always says "this is shareware for 30 days, register at....blah blah blaah). So I went to START - SEARCH and removed more files that way, but there is one that I cant remove and says access denied.

Can someone tell me a way to get rid of this program? Thank you in advance!!

Sounds like a job for Move on Boot : http://www.softwarepatch.com/software/moveonboot.html

Further info : http://www.softwarepatch.com/tips/howto-delete-xp.html

What's the name of the program so we can warn others about it.

Thumbs up Thank you so much

Ok, 500 reps to Jill......Thank you soooo much.

I downloaded the program, installed it, and then searched for it. At first it gave me the same prompt, but then it said "delete this item on next startup", so I was just a little hesistant and restarted the computer and now it is completely gone.

Unbelievable!!!

Thanks again,
