The best software would be from the motherboard manufacturer - example is Asus PC Probe.

If 50 is the highest temperature of those selections in Speedfan, it's probably the CPU, and that's plenty cool enough. You should be able to read out the temperatures in the BIOS to see what they correspond to.

no doubt the highest is your CPU, then perhaps the cases ambient temp, then perhaps the PSU, or maybe another motherboard sensor? I use speedfan, have a look aorund and find the part where you can download config files, you'll need to register but its free.

well im not touching the computer coz cpu preocesses is like 2% and this temp 3 goes from 28 - 57 and like up and dwn all the time

i dont think its the cpu ,

but i will try find the configuration files

if my system ever overheated would it just turn off to like protect itself from any damage?

If your CPU is remaining idle, the temerature should remain, +/- a degree or two. If it's flucuating all over the place it might just be a flakey sensor or one that doesn't exist (some of the temps are reported as 127C or 13C in my system...which definitely aren't possible it's not 13C in the room and if something was at 127C it would be smoking by now).

What CPU do you have? Newer CPUs will shut down if they hit a certain temp. Also, your mobo might have some built in protection.
