folder question

What does someone mean by decompress files to a folder and how do I do it please?

assuming you're using a .zip file you'll need a decompression tool. Windows XP has a .zip decompressor built in. for other formats you'll need a third party tool, such as WinZip. To "Decompress to a folder" you'll need to choose the 'Extract files to Folder' option.
