recording software
Does anybody know of any freeware that contains a microphone utility? I'm trying to record something and then play it back at about double the speed, but I don't know of any. Does WMP have a mic utility in it?

Windows Sound Recorder can record and playback a double speed.
Start>Programs>Accesories>Entertainment If you need a more powerful app, check out Audacity. |

I forgot about that sound recorder, thanks.
EDIT: I downloaded Audacity and it's amazing, thanks Alaron - its exactly what I'm looking for. |
