Post Windows Blinds

Hey guys,
Im tired of my desktop being ugly and everything else being boring looking so I am looking around for some software that would change the layout of everything. I hear windows blinds is really good, and im aware of a site called wincustomize.com. I used them before but they were too, something was just wrong. When I built my computer I had to reformat and because of the login screen had been changed >_< So here I am seeing if there are any others better or just to look at.
Thanks for looking! -Levi

Be careful - suspect *anything* free that does this to possibly contain spyware.

Download the uxtheme patcher. Dont forget to make a system restore point first. Then you can get free themes from several sites. Watch out for the ones that scream FREE THEMES. Try this site for plenty of free ones.

Get the uxtheme.dll patcher Here, run it, then reboot then you can add themes to your windows/resources/themes folder and then you will have those extra themes in your display properties in control panel.

Deviantart.com is a good place to look. You need to look for visual styles there.

Best thing about changing themes this way is it doesnt require any additional programs running, hogging down valuable system resources.

I've been using the WindowBlinds "trial" for years. It used to be that it would simply pop up once every day asking you to buy it. Clicking cancel got rid of the message and it kept working. The latest version allows use for 60 days, I don't know what happens after that. I have 20 something days left. It doesn't pop up every day.

Anyway, I love WindowBlinds. It works very well and doesn't slow down my system or hog resources.

Yeah I think thats the way to go for me, I just want windows blinds though. The desktop X reminds me of windows vista, kinda odd they decide to make it look all neato when there is already software that does it already eh? Well, its about time for me to get my own credit card now that im 18, just to buy little things here in there that is. Im a cold hard cash kinda guy, and im uber good with mula.

I'm 19 and recently got a debit card. It's closer to cold hard cash than a credit card. It has been very handy.
