Word 2000
I am using word 2000 for a doc I am creating but every time I hit enter the curser goes down 2 spaces instead of one. How do I fix this. As an example it looks like the following
one two three Instead of one two three which is what I want. I appreciate any help. TIA |

Go to Format, then Paragraph. Change the line spacing from 2 to 1.

Also, in the paragraph formatting dialog, check to see that space before and afer a paragraph is set to zero.

You can also hit CTRL+1 to change the spacing to 1. CTRL+2 changes it to double spacing again. In the Paragraph options box, you should also check the "Spacing Before" and "Spacing After" and boxes and make sure they're at zero.
