What is the best non-windows free defragmentation tool?

What is the best non-windows "free" defragmentation tool? Looking to shorten some of my game load times, like BF2. Windows Defrag just isn't cutting it. Thanks

Once a drive is defrag'd, it's pretty much defrag'd. Changing defraggers really won't show an improvement in game loading times. Anyway, Diskkeeper Lite has been recommended pretty much here.

Thanks. I asked because I have heard some defragers will take most access files and frag them at the edge of the disc for faster read times. I guess this is was I was really looking for.

I'd have to double check, but Norton Utilitie's Defragger would defrag to your personal settings. It was a great tool back in the Win 98 days. Don't know if the newer versions for XP still let you do that or not...???

I did some more research when I got home from work just now. Diskeeper actually does what I'm looking for. I'm downloading it now.

Update: Defraged and working good!

Note that "Diskeeper" is Not free. Only Diskeeper Lite is. And I don't believe they support it anymore.

There is a way to get Diskeeper Lite version 9. It's part of the downloadable Intel Desktop Utilities - a 90 meg download. The one you find at Majorgeeks, etc. is version 7.

If you are gonna buy it, get 10. It's even better, it lets you resize the MFT.

As mairving said - we do not discuss pirated software here.
