Are you backing up a movie DVD or are these files you have put together?

It's a matter of the playback software. PowerDVD and WinDVD can play back DVD files from hard drive.
Or, by "putting them together" I assume you want to create an image to load it into your emulator ? In that case, use Decrypter's ISO mode, not the file mode. RJ

You need to compress a standard dual layer dvd image down to 4.35 GB and you do that with DVDShrink ( www.dvdshrink.org ) which is a freeware program.

Normal DVD is 7,95 GB
![]() You need to either compress it to single layer size or burn it on a dual layer DVD. RJ |

If you just want to view it and not watch it in a media player get DVDShrink. It will read the IFO file and it has a small preview screen where you can scan through the scenes, etc. (And rip any scene if you want to.)

If you want to watch the movie via your hd then you should think about gettin divx or quicktime. I use divx
you would save yoursell about 6 gigs per movie, on your hd.

Even after using DVDShrink, you can play movie off harddrive using Windows Media Player
just select 'Open With' - 'Media Player' Last edited by Alaron; 07-25-2006 at 02:20 PM. |
