NOrton Go Back

Greetings All,

I have used Norton Go Back for a couple years now (I don't care for Windows Restore option)

On my new PC if I load Go Back...then Netmeeting is unable to connect.

I use Netmeeting on a daily basis so it is a required program in my list. At the same time Go Back has saved me several total reformats over the years.

Does anyone have a clue why this would happen it never happened on any of my previous systems.

Thanks in advance

What happens if you disable Norton before using Netmeeting?

edit : You may need to pull out a manual and check settings especially if you routinely load Netmeeting during boot up.
Also check to see that you disabled XP System Restore because if those 2 programs are arguing Netmeeting might be the casualty.

Goback is noted for causing all kinds of issues - because it actually alters the hard drive boot sector. I MUCH prefer using a drive imaging program and keeping updated images on some kind of external media or an additional hard drive. Yes, it CAN save your butt, but it can ALSO give you a lot of grief too.
