do these programs do the same thing?

is this: http://www.ntius.com/drive_backup.asp the same as norton ghost?

i am upgrading my system drive and want to do it without re-installing everything. i would get norton ghost, but i already have nti drive backup.

Yes, it appears to be able to make disk images.

If all you need to do is transfer the contents of your old drive to your new drive in its entirety, the manufacturer of the new drive probably has a free utility you can use.

thanks doc -- i'm getting a WD raptor, but it's OEM. i will check with the WD website if they have the software and if it's available for download.
