Outlook express help please

My outlook express is acting funny. everytime i open it, and i have new e-mails, it shows 2 of the same e-mails. so then i shut down outlook express, and reopen it, and then i have one of each e-mail. why when i open outlook does it show 2 of every e-mail. how can I fix this?

You're going to have to do a search. But I think the solution is something like delete all the .dbx files and reboot. They'll get recreated. They're corrupted.

Don't delete the .dbx files, you will lose all your mail folders. MOVE them and then when empty ones are recreated you can import them back, the corruption won't follow.
