ghost 2004
hi, I have ghost 2004 and the following files are on it:
I have ghost folder and the following files listed on ghost diskette autoexec.bat coomand.com config.sys ibmbio.com ibmdos.com mouse.com mouse.ini on it. Is that the only files need for ghost to work cause mine doesn't. Should I have formated the disk before putting files on it first? Please let me know. tia |

that is in the ghost folder...why wouldn't it work then? Does bios need to be set for floppy as booting 1st?

Yes you need a boot floppy with the floppy drive first in the boot order.

Pam, Are you talking about the bios setup on my computer or some order on my floppy?

Put the floppy drive first in the boot order since you'll be booting the computer from the floppy.

Both. You need to make sure your floppy is turned on (seen) by the BIOS, and you need it to be the first boot drive, also in the BIOS. The Autoexec file will load all the stuff and automatically put you in the right directory, and start the program.
edit: PS: Dang... gotta learn to type faster!! |
