Question General Laplink Question

I recently purchased Laplink Gold 12. I bought it due to the fact that I owned a previous verision of the program. I wanted to use it in order to keep my multiple machines on my home network both backed-up and keeping the most current version of files on the local machines.

Does anyone out there use this program and if so, what are your thoughts?

Thanks.

I used Laplink for Years in the DOS to Win98 days...
I still use ver 10 to connect to one of my clients since it's the only way they have setup...

It's a nice program. Only downside is that are tons of Free software that will do the same thing.

So, it shouldn't be too hard and fairly reliable once it is set-up. What level of difficulty should I be ready for trying to set-up remoting into my home network when I am on the road?

Thanks.

Would be helpful if you had someone on the home front to drive the pc when your away. That or go to a next door neighbor and test from there.

So, it should not be hard to set it up for remote log in?
