Program starts with Boot
Hello,
I am putting together a system for managing environmental elements remotely. I have a program I wrote that is run with certain software. My question is: How can I have the software startup automatically once the computer boots. As this is a remote system it is possible that the power can go out, I have figured out how to set the BIOS so that the computer reboots as soon as the power comes back on, but I need the program to start up with the reboot automatically. Is this as simple as putting the program in the startup file in XP? Any info you can offer will be greatly appreciated! Cheers |

Yes, it should be that simple, just add a shortcut to the program to the startup group. Make sure you do what you have to do in order to get the machine to log on automatically if it doesn't do so already.
