Problem with 2 apps: Nvidia and alcohol 120%

on my old laptop i had to go into geforce options and there was a window with 2 screens that could be easily altered to make the laptop have s-video output ...old laptop used geforce as well

my new laptop has a 6800 card and I cant find anywhere where I can edit the card to have s-video output . if i remember correctly it dealth with have dual displays...if that helps at all any ideas?

Also when I try to burn dvd iso files using alcohol 120% nothing happens ... the screen that displays % complete of burn loads fine and the CD spins but no information is burnt to the CD ... also there are no error messages in the log.

How can you burn a DVD iso to a CD? You need a DVD and a DVD burner.

Does the laptop even have a S-Video port?

It would be nice if you gave us the make and model of the laptop as well.
We can't tell you anything without specs.

Where is your manual?

This is one of those times when you've got the instructions close to hand.

News flash : The TV tuner is external and optional.
Did you order it?

If it's the dual output you want ( DVD on the TV) look at the connections, in both the manual and on the laptop.
Do they match up?

The Alcohol forum has this to say about DVD back-up : http://support.alcohol-soft.com/en/k...tle=DVD+Backup.
