Oulook XP Question

This one should be simple but for the life of me I can not figure it what I'm doing wrong!

On one of the systems I am using office xp, which obviously includes outlook xp!. Now, when I tried to edit the signature under advance edit...it tells me that it will launch an editor that is not part of MS outlook which I clicked OK to.

Now, before when I did this MS Word would open up, but now it is using FrontPage. I've looked everywhere without look to reverse this to word but I am unable to find it. I use FF as my default browser, but in IE there is a setting for the programs and on my other machines under the HTML editor option with in IE it shows excel, front page, word and note pad, but on this machine it only shows word, note pad and excel.

Any ideas, suggestions?

Thank You.

Tools->Options->Mail Format tab is where you'll find the option to use Word.

This is to compose messages, but I am referring to the signature part of outlook.

So you have Word checked and you're still getting Front page?

Yes! that is correct! but this is only for the signature part of it...

so when I go to:

options > mail format > signatures > I select my signature > edit > advance edit > and I get the attacched message, when I click "yes" FP is launched.

Any ideas?

I get the same message with Outlook 2003...Do you need the advanced edit? I had to scoll down to see my sig to do any editing.

Have you said Yes to message and seen the File converter that MS Word brings up?
