Accepting Download Pop ups don't work.

When I get pop ups from like iTunes and other programs about possible updates being available and I agree to download, no internet windows or install windows pop up. Nothing. This has been happening ever since I uninstalled internet explorer, installed fire fox, and then uninstalled fire fox and reinstalled internet explorer. Is there anyway I can get these windows to pop up again?

Uncheck block pop ups, it's enabled by default.

Still, I can't get pop ups. Also, when I click on links from any AIM message that is sent to me, it should automatically open up in a web page, but it doesn't.

What internet security software are you running and have you checked the settings since you switched the browsers around?
