Thumbs up How I can simplify opening of Wikipeadia articles?

Hello,

I like to read WikiPedia articles, but it is too difficult for me to open browser each time I need to read some article from Wikipedia encyclopedia.

Are there any programs to simplify opening of Wikipedia articles?

Thanks for your suggestions in advance!

Add a wikipedia shortcut to your desktop or quicklaunch tray. As far as I know, those are the simplest ways to get to wikipedia without first opening a browser.

I found this via google. Maybe that will help. Maybe not. But it's proof that such programs exist.

There's also a widget available here.

Welcome to PCMech!

You can register WikiReader for $24.95 or €19.55.

Let us know if it's worth the price...

I am testing WikiReader for my needs now and finding it very useful for every day use, or may be some day use. Now I can open an Wikipedia article just by pressing keyboard combination in any Windows application and I don't need to open web browser. It is very comfortable for me to open articles in this way.

I'll try to contact thier support team to suggest some features I need and will consider buying it.
