Freeze at bootup screen

Hey i was wondering if someone could help me with my problem.

I was using my computer and everything was fine. Then I came home from work and noticed the internet had disconnected (Im on broadband and i was downloading prison break on torrents). So i restarted and when i went to turn it back on it froze at the very start when it displays my motherboard manufactuer. I tried restarting and turning it off completly several times but to no success.
Does anyone have any ideas?

My specs are a DFI NF4 SLI Infinity motherboard
2 Gib DDR400 ram
XFX 7800GT
AMD 3000 64
80 GB Seagate SATA
ENERMAX 535W Power Supply

Try clearing the CMOS.

Your DFI Motherboard Manual should have it the Hardware Setup. If you can't locate the info, post back.

Two things.
If you have signed up with a legal torrent download service their tech support is best situated figure out exactly what happened, guide you through the necessary repairs, and tell you what to do to keep it from happening again.
If this wasn't such a service we can help you repair your OS install but that's it.
