Anyone have feedback on Open Office?

I'm looking for a quality word processing proggie, don't want to pay for MS Word....

Open Office is fine.
If all you want is the word processor then do a custom install and just install that one app.

Another choice, which I also use is AbiWord : http://www.abiword.org/

Take the tour and find out if it's what you want.

you can save your documents in open office with the .doc extension so they are viewable by others who do use word.

plust Open office is free, can't beat that.....
