Runner File Name app ID Separator?
When I boot up my compaq XP PC, I get:
Runner File Name (Compaq Connections.exe) lacks a "_" (The ID Separator) I can get rid of it by un-checking compaq connections in msconfig startup tab & rebooting, but I would like to keep this program running because, as I understand it, Compaq uses it to notify me of updates for my specific pc configuration. Can anyone help? I am no expert by any means, so please repnd with "solutions for dummies" type solutions. Thanks |

I recommend you leave it disabled. It uses Backweb spyware components and is not essential for proper computer operation or updating.
