Norton Anti-Spam Alternative
I read a couple of reviews and decided on Norton Internet Security Suite in order to deal with my growing spam issue on my home computers. Once I installed on the computer downstairs all options appeared to be working well however, on the machine upstairs I could never get the full system scanner to scan my system.
So, the long and short of it is this. What open source (free) software can I use to combat my spam problem that is not a resource hog. Thanks. |

I'd personally get rid of NIS and use an email provider that has server side spam filtering.

What alternatives are there if your provider does not provide server-side spam?
