[PERMFAIL]problems with multi email bccs

Tried to send a msg with about 80 bcc addressses separated
with a comma, through my comcast server but they will not send.
Getting a error msg " [PERMFAIL] destination not valid within DNS"
I tried on Mozilla/Thunderbird and on OExpress but its
the same. Where is this error coming from ?
I've heard that if even one address is faulty none will go through.
Is that so ? or do I need some special mass mailing software because the
server is rejecting the mailing as spam because of the large number
of addresses ?

Time to check with Comcast on their rules/restrictions on mass mailings. Any of the things you mentioned as possinble causes could be the culprit.

Thanks Flanzig, I called Comcast- " multi mailings can only be sent directly
from the comcast.net site, not through OE etc."
It worked fine . I spammed all my friends to promote my just completed web site for
our travel agency....

Thanks to all forum members at pcmech who got me this far .
