whats the deal
in the past three weeks I have gone to start a program and it trys to reinstall its self then it asks for the install program. well this has happend twice, problem is I have not uninstalled these programs. is there something wrong with my harddrive or do I have a virus what? the two programs where Paint Shop Pro 7 and Sonic Digital Media. I have reinstalled Paint Shop Pro but I dont have the Sonic Digital media disk that cam already installed on my computer..

I just noticed your post in the hardware section as well.
You need to contact tech support for whatever company you got the computer from and use their hard drive diagnostic. Meanwhile run chkdsk : http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315265 and run a malware scan with your, updated, anti-virus. |
