Norton Goback question

I just installed Norton Goback yesterday. I haven't read the instructional manual yet, unfortunately it automatically restored my PC and the recently installed programs were gone. How do I undo the restoration on my PC?

I'm not sure what you've done and it would help if I knew what OS you're running.
First, and you knew I was going to say this, read the manual
Go back gives you 3 options when you first install :
# View a presentation to learn more about GoBack and how to use it
# Revert your entire HD to a time in the past, or view your HD as it was before.
# Recover a deleted file, or get back an earlier version of a changed file.

If what happened is that you're set to "view" the HD as it was before then you can follow the instructions in the manual and all should be well.
If you really did revert your entire hard drive, then you'll have to reinstall the programs.
