Can you tell me the difference in these (home/student 2007)
I don't understand the difference between these products other than the prices. It seems that they all contain the 2007 versions of Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Onenote.

2 and 3 are the same link.
I have no idea what "Tech SKU" means - just buy the other one, it's cheaper and it's a retail box installable on 3 PC's. |

One Note is not a substitute for Office.
Do you need an Office program and, if you're strapped for cash, does it have to be Microsoft?

I think I just figured out what the issue is. The title of #3 is Office onenote home and student 2007, but the actual product is Ofifice onenote 2007, so it doesn't have word, excel, and powerpoint. I think I do need the microsoft products, so that I'm compatible with the PC's at school. What were you going to suggest if I didn't need it?

Since you're a student get this one : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16832116135
Schools have their requirements but if you can just download Open Office and save some cash : http://www.openoffice.org/ |
