Backup/Restore program for Outlook?

I have been using Thunderbird for quite some time now. I'm happy with it, but am sorely missing a couple of things. One, the ability to have a 'good' integrated calendar. The second, the ability to have Hotmail added as an account.

The downside is that it has always been a pain in the rear to backup and restore data from Outlook (probably because I never quite learned how to do it effectively I'm sure). With Thunderbird, and Firefox, it's as easy as using MozBackup. Easiest thing in the world.

Is there a program, like MozBackup that will completely backup all of my Outlook data with options to restore it just as easily?

Alternatively, is there just an easy way of backing it up manually? I never seemed to have very much luck just backing up the .pst file (there were always more than one) and pasting it back into the proper folder after reinstalling Outlook. Weird things always happened, sometimes requiring me to create and delete profiles, etc. Headaches.

One last thing, is there a way to import mail/contacts from Thunderbird to Outlook?

Thanks in advance for the help.

But doesn't that create a second profile, then requiring me to delete the other? Or will it import the .pst as the main mail file/profile?

To restore a pst file assumes that the original one has gone bye bye...

So you would need to create a new blank file and then import from the backed up file.
