Software that press key at certain time

I am doing a presentation, and I need the keyboard to press tab, alt tab F1 at a certain time. Like 5 F1 tabs in an hour. Is there a free program that can do just that? It will be easier as this would not be manned and would run working hours. Does anyone know a freeware? I downloaded autohotkey and autoit, but I have no idea how to use it. Its all in text. Thank you.
