Anonymous email in OE6?
Using Outlook Express 6 with WinXP Home SP2
Let's say I want to send an email that could not be traced back to me, ie, I do not want to receive any responses to it. If I set up a fictitious identity in Outlook Express with a bogus email address would that work? I used that procedure to test it and it seemed to work, but I'm not an expert at reading email headers. There may be a clue to my real identity somewhere in the header which I can't detect. Thanks EdP |

This is borderline on a workaround and therefore in violation of the forum's rules.

Thank you for understanding.
