Download Manager
I've been testing a few freeware download managers and it seems that all the one's I try put that little "DOWNLOAD BASKET" thingy which stays on top of every other app running. It does have an opacity to it but it's just irritating. I guess it's used to drag and drop links or something.
Anyway, just wanted some suggestions for a good download manager. My ISP is having LOADS of DNS issues, among other things, and it's recently become a pain to get files using windows default downloader. I've found that by using some of these managers it hammers the ftp or http in question until the connection is established and everything is good to go.
