What can I do?
What do I do when a program I want to run does not start? It is in the processes but never get there you can see it on windows task manager just sitting their take up memory

What are the system specs for this computer including the operating system?
How long has this problem been going on? Do you scan often with security software? Antivirus, antispyware, antitrojan? What kind of background programs are you running on this computer? What program are you having problems with?  Cricket

1.Dell E510, P4 360, with 1gb of RAM, and ATI Radeon x300
2. a long time a year, i would just restart the computer and if I started it just after I restarted it would work 3. yes yahoo online protection 4. normal stuff 5. a game Stronghold 2, it works fine when it works |

You're going to have to ctrl>alt>del and find out what background program is causing the problem ( one that loads rather later than the others, or used to.).
