Ok, I just bought the game Stalker ghosts of chernobyl. Put the disc in the drive. No autorun. Opened up my computer/clicked on the drive the disc is in, and receive error:
E:/ not a win 32 application. ???????????????? Brand new game. Cannot play it yet alone install it.

Did you by chance buy a 64-bit game meant for an operating system like Windows x64? I can't think of anything else that would give that error.

Try it in your other drives. If it does the same thing, the CD is defective, exchange it.

Tried it in both drives, same error. I didn't try it upstairs though on my daughters pc. Maybe I should just to confirm that's it no good.
